No. Standby draw is negligible: BonkCore sleeps when your bike does.

No. BonkPlate is a display piece. It is not issued or approved by any state or government, it does not replace your plate, and it must not be used to identify a vehicle on public roads.

No. Keep your official plate on the bike and fully visible, and never put BonkPlate over it or in its place. Show BonkPlate while the bike is parked, on a stand, a wall, a bench, or your spot at a meet, and take it down before you ride.

Rules differ by country, state, and city, and some places restrict anything that looks like a plate, even on a parked bike. We can’t give legal advice, so check your local rules before you bring BonkPlate to a public event. It was made for garages, shows, and photos.

The printed PETG frame is about 7.4 × 5 in (187 × 128 mm), close to a US motorcycle plate. The screen is 7.5-inch e-paper, and it reads like print in daylight.
